Social responsibility is one of Chesapeake Bay Candle’s core values and an integral component of the company’s philosophy, spirit and culture.

We believe it is our obligation as a successful company to give back to our community, and support numerous charitable organizations.

In 2008 Chesapeake Bay Candle has partnered with the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross, the Children’s Inn at NIH, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, Kids In Need, the National Foundation for Cancer Research, and United Cerebral Palsy of New York amongst others.

Having attended an English immersion school while growing up in China, Mei understands that foreign language skills are crucial for our children’s success in the global economy. She has established the Mei Xu Cultural Exchange Foundation which provides resources to schools with exemplary foreign language education programs in the United States and in China.
